We placed 2nd in our division and 6th in the entire league of 26 teams and will be playing in the CESL 1st division next year. Girls 2001 “Nemesis” tryout opportunity – October 30, 2011
Olympic Flame “Nemesis”, our girls 2001 (U11) team, is looking to add a few quality players to round out its 2012 summer outdoor roster. After a solid summer season, which included appearing in a tournament final and two tournament semi-finals, “Nemesis” is playing this winter in the MLS Indoor Soccer League and the opportunity exists to join the squad for the indoor season. Next summer “Nemesis” will be playing in the CESL U11 division. Tryouts are available throughout the winter. “Nemesis” practices on Thursday evenings. Olympic Flame “Ares”, our boys 2003 (U9) team, is looking to add a few quality players to round out its 2012 summer outdoor roster. After a great first season, which included winning a tournament championship and a semi-final appearance, “Ares” is playing this winter in the MLS Indoor Soccer League and the opportunity exists to join the squad for the indoor season. Next summer “Ares” will be playing in the Scardeso U9 division. Tryouts are available throughout the winter. “Ares” practices on Thursday evenings. U11 “Nemesis” – Soccerworld Holiday Tourney Finalist – January 15, 2012
Olympic Flame “Nemesis”, our under 11 girls team, participated at the Soccerworld Holiday Indoor Soccer Tournament over the Christmas Holidays, and once again did the Club proud. The girls faced off against Erin Mills Eagles, Oshawa Kicks Attack, Brams United Red Fury, Innisfil Stampeders and Ajax Stars in a very exciting tournament. The “Nemesis” girls played their best soccer of the indoor season in the tournament, and qualified for the finals, going undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament. In the semi-finals, “Nemesis” faced Erin Mills Eagles having already played them in the round robin, and in a hard-fought match defeated their opponents for the second time in the tournament. The “Nemesis” girls then moved on to face Ajax Stars in the finals, who were also undefeated until through the semi-finals. Unfortunately “Nemesis” was defeated by Ajax Stars in a hard-fought match, despite a great effort from our girls. But there were no sad faces on this day, as our girls qualified for their third tournament final (as well as three other tournament semis) in only 8 tournaments over the last 2 seasons! The girls are definitely headed in the right direction as they continue to prepare for the summer CESL season including competing in the MLS indoor league. The coaches are extremely proud of this group and the progress they have made in such a short time together. The summer is sure to be exciting for “Nemesis”. The Club would like to congratulate the girls, their parents their coaches! Good luck for the rest of the indoor season and playoffs!

2012 House League Registrations – February 1, 2012
The Club will begin accepting registrations for our 2012 House League program every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, at the Ellesmere Community Centre, starting on Tuesday February 14, 2012 and continuing until all age divisions are full. Alternatively, parents can mail the Registration form together with a cheque to the Club. Parents are encouraged to register their children early in order to ensure a spot, as registration is on a first-come first-served basis. The registration fee shall be $140.00 for the first child, $120.00 for the second child, $100.00 for the third child and free for the fourth child (in one family).
