Olympic Flame “Ares” Blue travelled to Cincinnati, Ohio to take part in the Mid-American Soccer Classic tournament the weekend of April 12-14, 2019.  The MASC tournament is one of the largest tournaments in Ohio and attracts many of the top teams from in and around Ohio, including many teams from the top state leagues.  “Ares” Blue cruised through the tournament at 3-0-0, 12 goals for and 1 against, defeating Metro FC Rapids from Kettering, Ohio 6-0, Toledo Football Academy Red from Toledo, Ohio 4-1 and TUMFC Green from Lebanon, Ohio 2-0. “Ares” Blue was matched up against TFA Red for the second time in the tournament in the final, with “Ares” Blue being crowned 2019 MASC U16 Gold Division Champion!  Congratulations to the “Ares” Blue players, coaches and trainers for a great result! Next up for “Ares” Blue is the May Day Classic tournament in Albany, NY followed by the Umbro Showcase, both in May.  Good luck to the team!
