OFSC “Eagles”, our 2008 U11 boys team, travelled to the Youngstown, New York on the weekend of June 28-30, 2019 to compete in their first US tournament, the Niagara Pioneer Soccer Tournament. And “Eagles” rose to the occasion, putting together a great run at the tournament and winning the championship in dominating fashion! “Eagles” showed off some fantastic passing and scoring skills, as well as great defending, finishing the round robin portion of the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record, defeating AC United Eagles (NJ) 5-1, Niagara Pioneer Revolution (NY) 4-0 and Amherst Atomics (NY) 4-0.  “Eagles” then met Penfield Rangers (Rochester, NY) in the tournament final and won the championship by a 3-1 score! Great job by all the boys both defensively and offensively!  Congratulations to the “Eagles” players and coaching staff for putting everything into the tournament and coming out champs in their first US tournament, and first scores/standings tournament!
